According to Donna Eden of Energy Medicine there are 9 Energy Systems: the meridians, chakras, aura, five elements, basic grid, electrics, celtic weave, triple warmer, and the radiant circuits. Tapping helps with several of these.

Tapping is one of my favorite tools to include in almost any Energy Psychology technique or mind/body process or modality.  Throughout this site you will find information on tapping and the benefits of utilizing energy psychology with the mind/body connection in therapy and in coaching.

Tapping, which is also known as EFT or Emotional Freedom Techniques, is an extremely powerful mind-body technique that can help you rewire your energy system, reprogram your subconscious beliefs, clear your resistances to achieving your goals, and remove your old programming that is keeping you stuck.

The benefits of Tapping include: reducing your stress, worries, procrastination, cravings, unhappiness, insecurities/self-doubt, unwanted feelings, and other self-sabotaging beliefs and behaviors.  By identifying and removing your emotional blocks and dis-empowering beliefs in both your conscious mind and your subconscious mind you are able to change your inner reality which can then change your outer reality.

EFT Tapping: If you feel anxious; tapping is one of the best tools, that I have come across in all of my studies as a therapist, to use to manage and decrease your anxiety. Tapping will help you feel more present, grounded, and connected to yourself which will help you to decrease your overall negativity and help raise your vibrations so you feel more joyful, optimistic, and an overall sense of happiness in yourself and in your life.

Tapping for Abundance: By shifting into gratitude and abundance, you can create fulfillment in all areas of your life; mentally, emotionally, spiritually, financially, physically, and energetically. With tapping and other energy psychology techniques, you are able to balance your body’s energy systems and begin to feel better.

Emotional Freedom Techniques, often referred to as EFT or Tapping, are meridian tapping techniques where the ends of the meridian points are stimulated through light tapping or touching with the fingertips.

Tapping on the meridian points allows the body to calm down and relax when it goes into the fight, flight, or freeze fear response.  Emotional Freedom Techniques or EFT can be used on specific events, physical feelings and sensations, as well as emotions.

The idea is that the energy has been disrupted, blocked, or reversed within the body’s energy system and by tapping on the meridian points we are allowing the energy to connect and flow in the right direction again.

Emotional Freedom Technique is incredibly helpful for removing negative emotions and disempowering beliefs.
